Issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia, we inform our guests that during the reservation process and upon check-in at the accommodation, it is necessary to provide certain personal data and present valid identification documents.
Personal Data We Collect
The following personal data may be collected and processed: first and last name, date of birth, nationality, gender, type and number of identification document, residence address, and other data required by applicable law.
Purpose of Processing
The data is collected and processed for the purpose of: fulfilling legal obligations related to guest registration, registration in the official Croatian tourist information system eVisitor, calculation and reporting of tourist tax obligations, statistical processing, and compliance with applicable hospitality, tourism, and immigration regulations.
Legal Basis
The legal basis for such processing is compliance with legal obligations pursuant to the Croatian Hospitality and Catering Industry Act, the Act on Sojourn Tax, and other applicable regulations of the Republic of Croatia and the European Union.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Personal data may be shared with competent authorities and institutions where legally required, including the Croatian Tourist Board and local tourist boards, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Ministry of the Interior, tax and customs authorities, and other authorized public bodies. All personal data is processed securely and confidentially in accordance with GDPR. Unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, processing, reproduction, distribution, or any other unlawful handling of personal data is strictly prohibited.
